In this kind of situation, <\/span>speed and the right method make all the difference<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: switch off and unplug immediately<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Protect the internal components<\/span><\/h3>\n

As soon as you realise that a liquid has been spilt, <\/span>disconnect the power supply without delay<\/b>. If the computer is plugged in, <\/span>unplug it from the mains<\/b> to avoid a short circuit. On a laptop, <\/span>remove the battery if it is removable<\/b>.
